Monday menu: Pumpkin recipies

   It's almost time to whack the pumpkins here at the casa de  chaos.   That mean's it's time to clear the freezer of the pumpkin puree from last year.

   So I thought I'd pass on a couple of recipes that I found on the Internets ....

Pumpkin and sage vegetarian pasta. 

Very good, though it took a lot more salt and pepper than I thought it might ....  I threw in a teaspoon or so of sugar to balance the sage a bit ... 

Cranberry pumpkin coffee cake

Oh. my. gosh!  This is good!  Honestly, you don't even need the cranberry.  Next time we make it, we're using raisins.
